South Dakota House passes homebuilder tax relief
Lawmakers voted 45-23 in favor of South Dakota House Bill 1209, a measure that would relieve homebuilders from double taxation. AOPA and the South Dakota Pilots Association will continue to support the bill, now headed to the state Senate.

Navy revises expanded training plan in Oregon

Florida House passes aviation tax exemption
The Florida House has voted to expand a sales tax exemption to most light general aviation aircraft maintenance costs and the equipment used in the repairs.
